For durability and longevity under Australian conditions, we manufacture our mainsails to our “Premium Offshore” specification, incorporating:

Headboards:
Alloy (150mm+)
Patches:
Radial tack 8%; head/clew 12%; all extra heavy thickness
Seams:
Extra Strong (UV stabilised thread)
Head/Tack/Clew:
Stainless steel cringles with leathers over webbing
Tapes: Extra large or doubled with a minimum of 2 stitching rows
Batten Pockets:
Heavy duty with Velcro lock
Standard Extras:
Heavy leech line, clam cleat with eyelets, telltales, trim stripes, extra large sailbag, handsewn leather reinforcements on all wear points.
